The 2007 Tour de Noooo might be about to get worse

Posted by admin on July 31st, 2007 filed in Uncategorized

I have a friend who calls this year’s Tour de France the “Tour de Nooooo.” After Rasmussen was kicked out, she gave up on the thing.
I was saddened by Vinokourov’s expulsion and disgusted by Rasmussen, but I was pleased at the ending and Contador’s victory.
Now, alas, Contador too is looking mighty close to being [...]

I don’t believe it . . .

I would like to know more about this accident, which killed an experienced Corpus Christi cyclist. The police say, and the news reported, that he rode through an intersection. Maybe it’s true. But something tells me it may not be.

Paris has initiated a program for short term (30 minute increment) bike rentals, at automated kiosks throughout the city. There are over 10,000 bikes available, and you access them by purchasing a year-long pass for about $40.00. The kiosks are opened with your cell phone, and record your information to prevent theft. Biker hit by paintball on Stone Avenue today

Posted by admin on July 13th, 2007 filed in Uncategorized

I just received word from a female bicyclist that she was hit in the back by a paintball fired from, presumably, a paintball gun. It stunned her so much she did not get any description of the vehicle.
It occurred on Stone Avenue right by the Police Station.
A bystander called 911 but the [...]

I reviewed the Sun Trans audio. . .

Posted by admin on July 13th, 2007 filed in Uncategorized

And it confirms my recollection of my altercation with the driver.
On the tape, he says he only ran into me to avoid running into another car.
The tape is a proprietary system that can only be reviewed by either buying the software or viewing the video/audio at Sun Trans lawyer’s office. The lawyer is Bill [...]
