And it confirms my recollection of my altercation with the driver.

On the tape, he says he only ran into me to avoid running into another car.

The tape is a proprietary system that can only be reviewed by either buying the software or viewing the video/audio at Sun Trans lawyer's office. The lawyer is Bill Poortman for Snell & Wilmer.

Bill was very helpful. We've been on opposite sides in various environmental litigation and so we chatted about that for awhile until he got the video working.

I've written a letter to Sun Trans to ask them to educate the driver about the rules that require giving a bicyclist three feet. My guess is they are just glad not to get sued over this. It can't be good when one of your drivers hits a lawyer.

But I'm not out to sue anyone, I just want the roads to be safe for us all.
