Bike commuters congregated at the downtown library this morning for coffee, food, conversation, and free bike stuff. David Tang from Ordinary Bike Shop was there all morning giving free tuneups...I overheard conversations about selling cars and opting for bikes with xtracycles...and for a second the world seemed to make sense.

There was a similar celebration on Broadway near Craycroft. A nice man from Roadrunner did a quick free tuneup on my Townie.
Did anyone notice that the Citizen had a front page story in anticipation of Bike 2 Work Day, and a follow up story after it happened, but the Star never mentioned it? What's up with that? The Star needs to get on the ball.
