In an idiotic article about the pros and cons of taxing bicyclists for their use of roadways in yesterday's Star, it took a full 62 comments before somebody finally made fun of cyclists for their "cute little outfits."
I am pretty sure that's a record.

Wow. I don't even have to read past the first line of the article to know that writers for the AZ Star are idiots.
"Should cyclists have bike insurance?"
That's possibly the most moronic thing I've ever heard. Insurance is for you hitting OTHER people, not OTHER people hitting you. Regardless of the mode of transportation, any damage caused by a car should be covered by the DRIVER's liability coverage.
It's pretty hard to be liable when you are run over from a vehicle from behind while staying in your separate bike lane.
