A little more on Allen Johnson
There isn’t much to go on yet, but KVOA has a little. I will be interested to read the report prepared by Pima County Sheriff’s Department. They still have issued no citations.

Patti Lopez ghost bike appears on Camino de la Tierra
Here is a photo of a beautiful ghost bike that has appeared at Camino de la Tierra at the river, just south of Green fields school. It was apparently installed anonymously.
Patti Lopez was a mother of two children still in middle school, struck from behind and killed on May 20, 2008.
I am pleased [...]
Drunk motorist acquitted in death of 16 year old cyclist
From the story:
GALVESTON — A man whose blood-alcohol content measured nearly four times the legal limit was acquitted Monday of an intoxication manslaughter charge in the death of a 16-year-old bicyclist.
After finding Ronald Lloyd Kenney, 67, not guilty in the 2006 death of Daniel Gonzales III, the jury met with Galveston County Assistant District Attorney [...]

Their arrogance, and their encouragement of arrogance on the part of their customers, against the scary, unsettling effects of global warming make it hard for [...]
Just one more reason Portland gets the Platinum
Two words: Joe Bike.
This guy is buying cheap bikes from China and retrofitting them so they actually work, but still selling them cheap.
He focuses on, um “real” bikes (my ideologies are showing through here) that carry people and stuff upright and facing the day, just like God intended.
And unlike the auto companies, [...]
The Lamplighter rides again!
My friend Zach finished his Lamplighter. I don’t know where I first heard of this historic bike, but I have always wanted to see one. Now he’s got it done. I saw the frame as he was building it and it was quite a thing to behold.
Zach is currently traveling the country [...]
Jeff Frings I salute you!
Jeff and I have had a few e-mail conversations in the last year about his treatment by local authorities, and there wasn’t much I could do for him. He said he was going to see if some media exposure might help.
I have to say he did an incredible job! It appears his efforts [...]
