    Erik,
if you took that turn on your dutch bike, I think they’d have to amputate your leg

THAT is why we live here in Tucson. It certainly isn’t for the 110 degree days. It is so we don’t have days like that, but instead have 74 degree days in the middle of February.

The further the plane got from Tucson, the more boring the topography and more gloomy the sky got. I had to fight a very strong impulse to just stay seated after we landed because I knew the planing was turning right back around for Tucson again.

About this video…You know, as funny as it is to sit in your apartment and film/watch people eating shit…I think I might go and put some salt down on the bike path if I saw this happening so frequently. Geez.

That was my first thought – and in this situation would see it as my job (as the person who noticed it as a recurring problem) to take action with some cheap and non-objectionable sand, even though that might interfere with someone’s opportunity to sue the city.

I had so much fun in Tucson. Now I desperately miss the desert and the sun! It was such a wonderful trip. I think it might have prevented me from offing myself in the midst of the cruel Chicago winter. Thanks SSSOOOO much Erik!
