A round of applause for Famous Sam’s on Ruthrauff

I had occasion to drive (groan) down Ruthrauff last weekend and this brought me past the Famous Sam’s where Laura Varela’s ghostbike was installed. I was certain the bike would be gone by now, because it is quite conspicuous and almost seems to be invading some of their landscaping. It was installed over a month ago.
It was still there! And somebody had even draped a helmet over the bars.
I am grateful to Famous Sam’s for not removing the bike. Next time I am in that neighborhood I am going to be sure to be hungry and have a little time on my hands. You should too! And thank them for letting the bike stay.
