Beloved El Grupo Scavenger Hunt Bike Ride this Saturday
If you have never done this, you really ought to. It’s a hilarious ride around town with lots of other people, all equally bewildered, scrambling to put together puzzle pieces and ride in for the glory.
There’s a reason it won Best of Tucson.
Team Tucsonbikelawyer took second last year, but we lost all our strongest riders including Lauren, our team captain, so we’re heavily handicapped down at the bottom this year.
However, as The Weekly put it,
The first team back to the starting place with all the items wins, but WAIT! Don’t rush! Whoever dawdles, dillydallies and delays—and makes a leisurely fun afternoon of it with their family or friends—wins even bigger. The joy is in the journey.
The ride is $5.00 (12 and under free) or $10.00 if you want a rad T-shirt, and all proceeds benefit the El Grupo Youth Cycling Club. On-line sign up info is here.

Is Mickey riding on the TBL team this year?

Lauren, I have not seen Mickey astride any of his bikes since you left. He just drives his car back and forth to the Circle K and Blockbuster video to get movies, Red Bull and malt liquor products.

Yup, I pretty much run over cyclists daily now.
