Good Samaritan chases down drunk driver and snatches her keys after she nearly kills cyclist
What interests me most about this story is the total lack of hostility directed toward the cyclist. Not even a hint. Maybe it’s the good samaritan angle that accomplishes that. But nobody is asking whether he was wearing a helmet, whether he “swerved into traffic,” or was wearing reflective clothing. I [...]

Hit and run driver kills Phoenix cyclist; police looking for silver BMW

Cyclist killed this morning in Tucson
As usual, it’s a hit-from-behind accident. There is not much information available yet. The young driver fled the scene but was caught. Apparently the driver swerved into the bike lane and hit the cyclist.

Priorities
Last night somebody attempted to break into a car parked down the street a ways from my office. They didn’t succeed.
Right now there are four police officers swabbing it down for prints and investigating it. They’ve been there for awhile and it looks like they will be there for quite some time. [...]

Stuebe remained in a coma for months [...]
