Convicted hit-and-run driver tells his story
Carhead September 4th, 2009
I am actually fairly sympathetic to the plight of motorists who, through inattentiveness or even stupidity, injure a cyclist. Very few motorists actually want to hit you. (Although some do). They just don’t think carefully enough about what they are doing.
At the risk of getting myself flamed, I even found a surprisingly deep well of sympathy for Glenda Rumsey, who in an extremely intoxicated state killed young Jose Rincon early last year.
But this guy . . . this guy is not winning any points with me.

So it’s ok to be a drunk driver and nearly kill someone as long as they are also drunk.

I just left long comments on 3 of the posts. What are the chances they get past moderation?
Read any posts from http://aceanderic.wordpress.com/ and you will not feel sorry for this jackass. It makes it worse that his family is complementing the guy on how buff he is getting in prison. Eric had to relearn to walk.

I would also encourage people to post this link http://aceanderic.wordpress.com/ on every article. His “supporters” should know how much pain he willfully caused. His wife calls it an accident. Accidents are unavoidable. He chose to get drunk, get in a car, and steal beer and then flee from the parking lot. All avoidable. Therefore, it was not an accident.
