Every bike a love affair, every car a . . .
From the NYT today:
The daily activities most associated with happiness are sex, socializing after work and having dinner with others. The daily activity most injurious to happiness is commuting. According to one study, joining a group that meets even just once a month produces the same happiness gain as doubling your income.

Hey! We missed you last night! It was a smell ride (mostly orange blossom, with some sickly night blooming jasmine and a lucky waft of osmanthus) with a stop for ice cream. We ended up at the turtle pond at the UofA. Next Tuesday!

That was the ‘early’ group.
The second group of 30-40 riders
left at 8:30, did a 10½ mile
route of a lot of the usual
places, but in a very nice order.
Ended at Presidio & wandered over
to Che’s.
