May Glenda’s stay in Prision be as peaceful as Jose’s stay in heaven. God rest their souls. I really hope this will keep her where she belongs. I would die if my Daughter was killed by her or anyone else while drunk and driving!

Good point – I think I’ll get blind, stinking drunk, barrel on down the road without a care, then blame the city because they didn’t make the road wide enough to keep me from swerving off of it. This could have happened to anyone? Maybe anyone too drunk to remember that a road she drives *every day* (and has so for how many years now?) narrows in the same spot that it always has for many many years.
Yeah, it’s high time the city improved that stretch of road, but the existance of a well-marked and obvious merge point in the road offers not one iota of an excuse, drunk or sober.

it seams as if no one realizes that miss rumsey did not intentionally run down anyone. it is a sad fact that she did hit someone why inpaired. she should not be made to feel like she did it on purpose, and the facts should be printed correctly about her violation of alcohol, just recently, it was a trace that could have came from many6 dental hygeine products, where i live we report the news correcttly, not just headlines to sell papers.

Hey, what happened to that straw-grasping spew of garbage above my other post about it being the city’s fault for not widening the road fast enough? Like that really would’ve made a difference.
Oh, and Terry… approx. three times the legal limit?!! And then chose to get behind the wheel?!! That pretty much equals “intentional” as surely as choosing to drive a car with no brakes through a school zone or blindly firing a gun into the air in a populated area.

I just read that Ms Rumsey is a para legal. Is this why she is getting preferential treatment. It is apalling that she is out driving (drinking) on our streets. I suppose she will get out of doing any jail time as well. I wonder how she lives with herself.

TERRY I AGRE WITH YOU ON THE MOST PART. SHE DID NOT MEAN TO HIT THE KID. IT WAS PITCH BLACK AND SHE WAS MERGING.LOOKING IN A SIDE VIEW MIRROR, THE YOUNG MAN WAS WEARING DARK CLOTHING. ALMOST IMPSSABLE TO SEE HIM. I KNOW I WAS THERE

BUT I DO NOT AGREE WITH THE OTHER CONCLUSION TERRY. THERE MIGHT BE THINGS THAT CAN SHOW UP. BUT NOT IN THIS CASE. AGAIN, I KNOW FOR A FACT.WHAT SHE WAS DOING

I knew glenda years ago and found her to be the kindest woman without doubt. I pray for her to see this through and be able to recover from such a horrible situation. My prayers are also with the family of the innocent young man.

I met her when she was 8 years old. Sweet little girl her mother died when she was about that age. And her father an alcoholic she did well with her life I feel for all of them But still wondering why there are parking lots at bars can’t figure that one out…
