More on bike boxes

About ten minutes after making that last post of the “bike box” (directly below) my friend Greta alerted me to this article in the New York Times about Portland, Oregon’s decision to install several of them in areas where the “right hook” problem is acute. Two Portland cyclists died last year in right hook accidents.

Ironically, the NYT missed the fact that they already have bike boxes in many parts of their own city. Streetfilms has more on this.
