On Jose Rincon

My heart aches for the Rincon Family having to place baloons on the side of the road for Jose Jr’s 15th birthday. What you all need to know is for this family and all families like them, will put baloons again for his 16th, 17th and 50ith birthdays, celebrating his life and thanking the Lord for him. These roadside memorials are to remind you the public of a precious life taken in a preventable senseless incident, not to Memorialize the death. Always be aware of everything around you, driving or riding, lives depend on it, including your own. January 20 will be the final word, court done, case closed, not for this Family and it should not be for you the public. Please have “Respect for Life, Each Other and the Law”

Well said. Another comment suggests that perhaps there will be a “winner” in all this after all, if the case persuades someone to stop driving drunk. It is such a poignant story that it may well do so. Young Jose has touched an awful lot of people, even in death. I know I won’t ever forget this case.
