Platinum bike cities: a traveler’s account
Our eternal quest for Platinum Status July 27th, 2008
Jonathan Maus of bikeportland.org is in California and he wrote a great post on Davis, the first city to achieve platinum status by the League of American Bicyclists.
As most of you know, Tucson has been trying to get this award for some years now, and keeps failing.
Maus’s description of Davis tells me we have a little ways to go.

Erik – I think the link is not quite right. I had to work a little to get to the actual post. Great story. Reminds you that all things are relative. We have a long ways to do.
