Stolen Bike Recovered at Ronstadt Center
About 30 minutes prior to this week’s Tuesday Night Community Ride, our friend T had his bike stolen from the front rack outside of Time Market. T had been sitting inside by the window and was keeping an eye on the bike, but a woman observed two young men steal it and run off when he wasn’t paying attention. After searching the alleys around the 4th and University area for quite a while, T assumed that the bike was long gone. In a final effort, he headed over to the downtown bus station. After taking a look around, he informed a cop about what happened. Just as he was getting ready to leave, he spotted the bike behind one of the columns in the Ronstadt Center bus station. He yelled to the officer as the guy was trying to get away and the officer arrested the thief. I suppose that the downtown bus station is a good place to check for your stolen bike….glad you got your bike back T!

Unfortunatly I just had mine stolen from the college right before attmpting to meet for the Tuesday ride for the first time. It is a brand new blk/gold Specialized hard rock with bar ends etc.
