I was at this intersection a couple of years ago with a bunch of fellow U of A riders waiting for a green light and a school bus pulled up and took a right turn in front of us. The rear of the bus tracked into the group and luckily we escaped with only a rear wheel being destroyed by the bus. Be safe out there and always ride defensively.
On another note, why was Mountain not improved all the way to the river? I know that while the construction was being completed on the other parts of Mountain they put out traffic counters in the section north of Ft. Lowell. I’m sure it made for a very innacurate count of the traffic on that portion of Mountain.
