Tucson Bike Fest 2009
I haven’t always had a super high opinion of all of the decisions made or at least facilitated by the Tucson Department of Transportation, but I have always been a supporter of what the City’s bike coordinators are up to. I think the City of Tucson does a darn good job helping out bicyclists. (I haven’t always been able to say that about the Tucson Police Department, though.)
Anyway, check out Tucson Bike Fest. They even have a bike-in art tour! (Ahem, please drink and ride responsibly)
My friend Eric Post (another Tucson bike lawyer) is even hosting breakfast tomorrow for bike commuters. If your route takes you past Campbell and Broadway, stop in!

I stopped by Eric’s this morning about 8:30. Looked like a pretty decent turnout. Lots of helpful folks and good food. Got a free bell!

Nuts! I stopped at Broadway/Craycroft Monday, but since I was going off of the printed brochure instead of the website I missed this one. Wednesday is the Ward 6 stop at 3rd & Country Club, Nina Trasoff is supposed to be there just in case anyone wants to ask why TPD still refuses to enforce laws that protect bicyclists.
