Tuesday night bike ride report

We forgot to mention–the Tuesday night bike rides are still happening. Last week over 100 people turned out for a slow, meandering ride through town. The pace is very slow–lots of people show up on old Schwinn girl’s bikes with one speed–and everyone stops and regroups periodically anyway since keeping that many people together through city streets is a challenge.
It’s great fun to ride in a group that large, and you see some interesting bikes, too–this week a fellow showed up on a tall bike and even played in the “foot-down” game at the end!
The rides start at 8PM at the flagpole at the main University entrance near Park and University. There is usually a theme, but I don’t know what it is for next week yet.
