Theft alert!

Tuesday evening while parked on campus somebody stole my black and grey Transit trunk rack with the extended side pockets that hang down on either side of the rack like mini-panniers. It also featured a center rear pocket and criss-cross shockcord drawstring on top. I had it bolted to my rack (to discourage theft - HA!), so there will be two 1/4" holes along the centerline in the bottom about 10 1/4" apart, with wear or impression marks around them from large 1/4" fender-washers on the inside, as well as wear marks from carrying a U-lock flat in the bag with the lock portion forward.

I'm not holding much hope, and it *is* just an old cheap bag, but this is my favorite trunk and they don't make this style anymore. Please let me know if you see it.

How about picking somewhere that doesn't impede pedestrians? I cycle frequently and am all in favor of promoting bikes but pissing off people is not the right approach. Sorry for not wanting to stand for 5 minutes just to cross the 30 feet of University.
