Whoa– this guy’s encounter with a city bus was a lot worse than mine
I posted here some time ago aboutgetting grazed by a Sun Trans bus. I filed a complaint with Sun Trans and met with their attorney, and they were very gracious to me but I never heard from them again after I filed the complaint, even though I asked them to follow up with me and let me know if the driver got educated about his duty not to kill or maim people on bicycles.
In another week or so I’ll write them again and inform them that next time I will urge people to file a lawsuit, since that seems to be the only way to get their attention.
Meanwhile, from www.drunkcyclist.com comes this report of a guy who got hit by a bus and then arrested for stopping the bus to call the police! I hope he gets a lawyer — I would love to take this case and it sounds like a few folks over there need some legal counsel about dealing with cyclists.
