World AIDS Day this Saturday

Uncategorized November 28th, 2007

This coming Saturday, December 1st, is World AIDS Day. There will be a bike ride in many major cities around the world, including Tucson, this Saturday to raise awareness and fight against the stigmatizing of people living with HIV and AIDS.
This year’s ride is specifically to honor HIV-positive three-year-old Caleb Glover who was denied access to the swimming pool and showers at a resort while on family vacation.
I don’t have specific information about the Tucson contingency of the ride yet. If you know more details, such as time and place, please feel free to post them here. I’d love to help get the word out!

Jeff, you might also want to try teamutac.com
There might not be one organized in your area, but if not, call your friends. And wear red!
